Server transfer
A free move to another server, once per account. When it works, what you have to sort out first and what you can lose along the way.
Schedule and hours
The first transfer period runs for two weeks, each from one maintenance to the next. Which week applies to you depends on where your character is today.
| Period | Who |
|---|---|
| 14–20 October | Only characters on Early Access servers (the nine pairs from Siel – Israphel to Hithanya – Nemon) |
| 21–27 October | Only characters on the servers opened at launch |
In Europe you can request the transfer daily from 12:00 to 16:00 and from 18:00 to 22:00 (German time). The period starts after the maintenance on 14 October and ends before the maintenance on 28 October, so the last window closes on 27 October at 22:00. All dates are also in the calendar.
Rules and costs
- Free: the base price and the price per character are 0 quna.
- One transfer per account for the whole period, from exactly one server to exactly one other.
- You can take as many characters from that server as you like.
- Only within your own faction and your own region. Early Access servers can only move to other Early Access servers.
- If the destination lacks character slots, each extra slot costs 1,000 quna. Example: six characters but only four free slots means 2,000 quna.
- Every server has a cap on transfers out and in. If it is reached on the old or the new server, the transfer is not possible, even if you already have characters there.
Checklist before the transfer
The purchase button only becomes active once every requirement is met. Tick off what you have done; the list only remembers it in this browser.
What moves, what stays
| Moves with you | Stays behind |
|---|---|
| The character with skills, Stigmas, Daevanion, Arcana, wings, Pantheon, quests and exploration; inventory and character storage including purchased storage slots; kinah from inventory and character storage; Abyss Points; dungeon reward and attempt counters, Abyss and rift time; Season Missions and season ranking points; crafting and gathering levels; friends and block lists | Everything in server storage (only the number of expansions counts, the higher value applies on the destination); purchased character slots of the old server; the mail block list |
Account-wide things are merged on the destination and disappear from the old server:
- Quna and Mileage move in full and are added to your balance on the destination.
- Your membership moves too and is combined with any membership on the destination.
- The Daeva Pass moves along with its progress.
- Titles, achievements, Closet skins, pets and Theostones are merged with what you have on the destination. For server-wide achievements and titles, the higher progress counts.
- Saved looks and Style Shop downloads stay usable; your own styles still show the old name and server, though.
What to watch out for
- Duplicate shop purchases: If you already own the same Special Pet on the destination, you keep only that one and receive a Pet Reward Ticket, which lets you request a refund for the pet from your old server through support. Duplicate non-customizable decorative skins give you a Skin Reward Ticket for the “300 Quna” item in the shop. Both tickets are valid only until the maintenance on 25 November. Duplicates bought in the Pass Shop are refunded in Pass Coins.
- Genus Insight: you choose whether the progress from the old or the new server applies. It is reset on the old server either way.
- Purchase limits: per-character limits move with you. For per-server limits, the higher count of the two servers applies, so moving does not give you extra purchases.
- During the transfer period the Wind Breeze Merchants do not sell Soul Crystals or Instant Clear Tickets (Server); the same amounts are available through Substance Morph instead. Odyle Energy has a per-character purchase limit instead of a per-server one during this time.
- Server-wide rewards such as Daily Dungeons, Shugo Festa and Dimensional Invasion move with you, but the progress on the old server is kept as well.
- You can only use the Abyss Corridor on the destination if your faction has captured it there.
How the transfer works
- During your region’s time window, open Shop → Server Transfer in the game.
- Choose the destination server and characters. If a destination is not allowed, the interface tells you.
- Buy the free transfer. After that it cannot be cancelled or reversed.
- You are sent to the title screen and the account is locked while it moves. It takes at least one minute, longer when there are many requests. On PURPLE you get a push notification once it is done.
- On your first login on the destination your character is temporarily called @TemporaryName; now you set the new name.
By the way, you can reach friends on other servers without moving, and Expeditions and Transcendence are matched across servers anyway. How that works with names and server tags is explained in the tips.
