For the full launch NC opened nine new server pairs in Europe, from Nania vs Hadala to Kochi vs Baba. The nine early access pairs stay. NC plans to rearrange the pairings from time to time.
Log in before the maintenance on 2 December and the pre-registration and wishlist rewards arrive by mail. NC also plans to unlock the cosmetics from the Founder's Packs for every character on an account on all servers; no date yet. Buying Kina or Quna from third parties can get you banned.
The server list, the friend name helper and the search now know all 18 European server pairs, with the early access servers marked. The beginner guide covers the launch rewards and the third-party warning, the Money & Fairness guide the promise about founder cosmetics.
The maintenance from 07:00 to 15:00 (German time) ends early access. Characters can be deleted faster, some bosses get stronger, and several quest bugs are fixed.
A timer at the top of the menu shows whether maintenance is running or coming up. The search (Ctrl+K) covers all guides, and “Ask the Daeva” answers questions from the content of this site. Also new: patch notes summarised on the site.
What money buys in Aion 2 Global and what it doesn't: Quna, Kina, membership, shop and Daeva Pass, the money path to click through, what went wrong in Korea and our assessment. Plus, in the gear planner: a dockable slot editor and “Set all”.
The gear planner adds up your item level from all 20 slots, five Arcana cards and your Daevanion points and shows which gates are open. Item level check, Odyle calculator, friend names and class finder are now presented graphically.
In the new Tools section you plan your own Daevanion boards for all eight classes, with points, gear score and a shareable link. There's also an item level check, an Odyle Energy calculator, a name helper for friends on other servers and a class finder.
The Arcana cards that give skill levels, Pantheon stats and item level from level 45: which card type improves which skills, what the rarities and the two sets give, how to enhance cards, where they drop and how to craft them yourself with Mysterious Crystals.
Crafting and gathering on Global: what the five crafting professions make, how to take them to 100 through the Ascension Trial, how lucky procs and the Dragon Lord ladder work, where the materials come from and which pieces are worth it at 45.
At the community's request, all class guides now show the Daevanion boards as a graphic: every node in its place, coloured by point cost, and the recommended route with numbered stops as in the list.
For everyone joining at the Global launch: choosing region, faction and server, the first hours with the main quest, controls and flying, currencies and Odyle Energy, what the membership gives and how to play with friends.
With the name and the server tag in square brackets you can add friends across servers. The server list under Game info now shows the matching tag for every European server.
Where you fight other players on Global: the PvP toggle in the open world, Spacetime Rift, the Abyss with its time budget, artifact sieges and boss schedules, the two arenas and the normalised 10-vs-10 battlefield. Plus what Abyss Points buy and which combat rules differ against players.
How item level comes about, how risky enhancing, runes and Amp are, what soul binding, manastones and potential do, and what carries over when you transfer or craft onto a new piece. Plus a short list of what to keep and what to upgrade.
A class-independent overview of all instances on Global: expeditions in Exploration and Conquest, Transcendence, Nightmare, Ascension Trial and Ludra, plus how loot works with Odyle Energy and which rules apply in almost every boss fight.
The guide to the main tank is online: how Judgment is unlocked through the shield skills, both common stigma variants, macro, rotation, tanking, levelling, Daevanion routes and a PvP preset.
The Gladiator guide explains how Rage Burst unlocks Overhead Slam and which stigmas fit with and without a Templar in the party, plus macro, tanking, levelling, Daevanion routes and PvP.
The Cleric guide covers how Chain of Torment and Earth Punishment keep Condemnation firing constantly, when to use which heal and which buffs to coordinate with the Chanter. Plus stigmas, macro, levelling, Daevanion and PvP.
The Chanter guide shows how Dark Crush fires through its opener skills, when to pop Power of the Storm and which buffs clash with the Cleric. Plus stigmas, macro, levelling, Daevanion routes and PvP.
The Ranger guide revolves around the fully charged Deadshot and the lethality from Marking Shot: skills, stigmas, a two-line macro, rotation, farming tips, Daevanion routes and PvP.
The Sorcerer guide is about firing Hellfire fully charged and as often as possible: how Firestorm cuts its cooldown, which stigmas and ground skills belong with it, macro, levelling, Daevanion routes and PvP.
With the Spiritmaster guide all eight classes are covered. It explains how the spirits supply the four elements for Elemental Fusion, why the fire spirit comes last and when to call the Ancient Spirit. Plus stigmas, macro, levelling, Daevanion routes and PvP.
The Sorcerer fights with a spellbook, the Spiritmaster with an orb. The class overview previously listed the book under the Spiritmaster by mistake, and the Sorcerer's weapon was missing.
Every sub-page now has its own title image, and all eight classes have a portrait. The images were made specifically for the site and are not official artwork.
